  5. I thirst…
  6. It is finished….

Seven powerful expositions about the last words of Jesus from the cross. 7 last words, 7 anointed speakers, 5 congregations coming together to make it happen. Join us! Doors open at 6:00 PM.

Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning! When I hear that scripture, it makes me think of how I used to perceive Good Friday. I used to cry and weep and wail at how unfair it was, how mean the Romans were and how everyone deserted Jesus! Then I used to do the dance of joy and go, “aha!” when resurrection Sunday came around until I realized the correlation between the two. Without weeping or sadness we can’t really experience the fullness of joy. The same way without the crucifixion we can’t experience the fullness of the gift of His resurrection. Please join us as we celebrate that gift, it may be an old celebration or a new beginning for you whichever it is we will be happy to join in with you–10:30 AM April 1st.

This Good Friday, Calvary Temple wants to help you and your family, friends, and neighbors celebrate in a new way: Join us for a FREE Service called “Seven Last Words” on Friday, March 30th at 7 PM.

The relevant message of Jesus’s lifesaving sacrifice and the battle for our souls is conveyed through the exposition of his seven last words from the cross. We encourage you to bring your family and invite everyone you know to come for an unforgettable celebration. But wait…the story doesn’t end there…

There is much cause for celebration…as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Sunday, April 1st at 10:30 AM. Won’t you join us? Start your new beginning this Easter…He already prepared the way.
