This is a group of ladies who create beautiful shawls and lap blankets to new parents and severely ill individuals. The time spent knitting these is spent praying over them and for the person who will be receiving them.

The ministry originated by Louise Walakovits who is not a knitter herself, however, that did not stop her from coordinating the ministry. She found those who could knit or crochet and invited them to join the ministry. In the four plus years that the ministry has been in operation, its members have prayed over and given out at least 15 baby blankets and at least 20 shawls/lap blankets to new parents and severely ill individuals. Many of the people given these blankets have reported many blessings. |
